Two men on Arizona's Death Row were ordered to pay $6 million last week to the families of two Pizza Hut employees they murdered in a failed robbery attempt. Pima County Superior Court Judge John F. Kelly ordered Kajornsak "Tom" Prasertphong and Christopher "Bo" Huerstel to pay the parents of the victims, James Bloxham, 17, and Melisa Moniz, 20. According to the families' attorney, the decision is purely symbolic, as the parents will likely never receive any compensation from the prisoners due to their confinement.
The families' attorney is now focusing attention on the owner of a Tucson gun store where one of the killers allegedly purchased the .40-caliber Glock handgun used in the murders.
