A Miami teen died and his 27-year-old cousin was critically injured when their all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crashed into a wall of rocks and overturned. The two were riding on a four-wheel Yamaha Banshee. Police found the two riders around 8:00 a.m. Sunday sprawled along a five-foot high wall of jagged rocks. Rodriguez was dead at the scene, and an unconscious Gonzalez was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition. Neither rider wore a helmet. According to police the area is off-limits to ATVs and is posted with "No Trespassing" signs. Police also said that the Yamaha Banshee is only designed for a single rider. In addition, local law requires that all ATV drivers be at least 16 years of age.
