One of the nation's largest health-care equipment suppliers settled a billing fraud case with the U.S. government last week. Rotech Medical Corporation will pay $17 million to settle allegations it over billed several important government health-care programs, including Medicare and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Rotech, which supplies respiratory equipment, has also been accused of forging billing documents.
