The family of a Virginia woman killed in an automobile accident in July has filed a $550 million lawsuit against Ford Motor Company, alleging the Ford F-350 is defectively designed. Patricia Board, 69, died last summer when an F-350 slammed into her car in Virginia Beach. The woman's son and daughter, who filed the lawsuit against Ford, say the F-350's bumper is built too high and caused Board's death when it collided with her car. The family has also filed suit against the pickup truck's driver and the dealer who sold the vehicle. Ford has yet to comment on the pending lawsuit.
