A Massachusetts family of a boy duct-taped to a wall in his daycare center is suing the owner of the daycare and its employees. The parents, joined by two other families, are suing the daycare, A Place to Grow, Inc., and its employees because of a pattern of abuse. The families claim that the daycare center exposed their children to infectious diseases, force-fed the children, sprayed the kids with water to quiet them down, and made them take naps with blankets over their heads.
Following the duct-tape incident, the manager of the center and three employees were fired. The daycare center has since closed.
