Healthy Workers Are Confident Workers

The April issue of The Journal of Applied Psychology reports that employees who feel in control of their jobs and responsibilities are less likely than their less confident counterparts to develop cold and flu symptoms. Employees who are uncertain about their own capabilities suffer more stress which in turn may reduce their bodies' ability to fight off infection.
