GlaxoSmithKline announced today that it will comply with the British Medicine Control Agency's (the UK's version of the FDA) request to supplement Paxil's warning label. The move comes after an American man killed his family, then himself, while beginning treatment with Paxil to ease his depression. The company admits that Paxil may increase thoughts of suicide in some patients during the early stages of taking the drug.
