An recent accident on a ride called "Chaos" at Michigan's Adventure Amusement Park injured several people. The ride tipped over on its side, leaving patrons suspended for several hours before rescue workers could free them. The park is located in Muskegon, approximately 40 miles northwest of Grand Rapids.
Up to seventeen people were treated at Hackley Hospital following the accident. Several other patients were taken to another local hospital. None of the injuries appeared to be serious.
Chaos spins riders around a rotating disc. A park official refused to comment on the accident but acknowledged that it occurred.
