The latest figures from the Federal government reveal what the traveling public already knows, more flight are delayed than ever before. It should come as no surprise that passenger satisfaction is also at an all time low. According to the Transportation Department's report, airline passenger complaints are up 16% over last year's already horrific numbers. "Addressing flight delays, cancellations and resulting consumer dissatisfaction will require a multifaceted approach, including new technology, airspace redesign and airport infrastructure enhancements," the report said. "The window for sorting through options for the short term is extremely narrow," it added. Lower fares have increased air travel popularity, resulting in more flights and subsequently longer delays.
