Parking Brakes on Ford Trucks Fail

Recently the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) began investigating 1999 Ford Super Duty F-Series trucks because of reports of faulty parking brakes. Almost 1,300 owners have complained that the trucks' parking brakes do not work. 37 Ford truck owners complained that the defective brake caused their trucks to roll away and crash. 460,300 of these Ford vehicles remain on the road.
