Vanadium Exposure: Overview

Vanadium exists as a yellow-orange powder, dark gray flakes, or yellow to rust brown crystals. Long-term exposure may cause respiratory problems and exposure to between 7 drops and 1 teaspoonful of vanadium may cause sudden death. Vanadium is often found in coal ash, a byproduct of coal burning power plants. The substance has been known to contaminate water supplies.

See your doctor if you have experienced serious health problems because of vanadium exposure. In addition, it may be important to contact an attorney who can help you protect your legal rights. Please keep in mind that there may be time limits within which you must commence suit.
