Respiratory Syncytial Virus or RSV Drugs: Overview
Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a contagious infection that is usually mild in adults and older children, but can be extremely serious in infants, the elderly, and those with compromised immune systems. Over 120,000 infants and young children are hospitalized each year with RSV. RSV affects the lungs and may lead to pneumonia and other lung diseases.
