SangCya & Neoral: Overview

SangCya, also known as cyclosporine oral solution, is an immunosuppressive agent manufactured by SangStat Pharmaceuticals. SangCya is used by organ transplant patients to inhibit the body's natural immune system, lessening the chances that the recipient will reject a recently transplanted organ.

In mid-2000 the manufacturer announced a recall of all SangCya 50mL bottles because it was determined that SangCya is not bioequivalent to Neoral oral solution when mixed with apple juice as recommended in its labeling.

See your doctor if you are concerned about taking SangCya or if you have experienced serious side effects associated with SangCya. In addition, it may be important to contact an attorney who can help you protect your legal rights. Please keep in mind that there may be time limits within which you must commence suit.

Attorneys associated with InjuryBoard.com will evaluate your case free of charge. In addition, you will not pay any fees or costs unless your attorney recovers money for you. Please click on the free Ask An Attorney button to take advantage of this valuable service.
