Prevnar Meningitis Vaccine: Overview
Several types of bacteria, all of which are commonly found throughout the environment, may cause bacterial meningitis. Bacterial meningitis is a serious condition that is characterized by symptoms including, but not necessarily limited to, fever, stiff neck, sore throat, nausea, irritability, confusion, fatigue, seizures, internal bleeding, low blood pressure, paralysis, coma and eventually death.

However, most doctors report that they are satisfied with Prevnar's safety and efficacy.
