2002 Toyota Sienna Minivan: Overview

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recently opened an investigation into two mysterious fires involving 2002 Toyota Sienna minivans. Although no one has yet been injured, investigators are particularly concerned because the minivan is popular among parents with small children. In both fires, children riding in the minivans were evacuated.

Authorities have not said how the fires started, but did indicate that both began without warning shortly after the owners purchased the vehicles. The vans were built at Toyota's Kentucky plant. Officials with NHTSA say that a decision on whether to recall the Sienna minivans will not be made until the investigation is completed.

If you have been seriously injured in a Sienna minivan, or any other vehicle, it may be important to contact an attorney who can help you protect your legal rights. Please keep in mind that there may be time limits within which you must commence suit.
